About
Ranked rap battles, one beat at a time
Booth Ranked is a free online game for rappers and singers. Everyone in a match gets the same brand-new beat, writes and records a verse in their own studio, and the room scores every entry.
How a match works
- Pick a category (drill, trap, boom bap, R&B, afrobeats or melodic) and a session length of 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes.
- Join a lobby of up to 15 artists. When the countdown ends, everyone gets the same beat with its BPM and key.
- Download the beat, record your verse in your DAW, and upload the finished song before time runs out.
- Listen to every entry anonymously and score it from 1 to 10. You can't score your own.
- Your placement earns or costs rank points. Climb ten ranks from Open Mic to Legend.
Beats
Some beats are generated for each match by Booth Ranked. Others are made by producers who submit them, or come from a Creative Commons library. Every submitted beat is reviewed by a person before it can appear in a match, and every producer is credited. The full list is on the Beat credits page, linked at the bottom of the game.
Fair play
Scores and rank points are calculated on our server, not in your browser, so they can't be edited. Players can report beats, and offensive or stolen content is removed. Uploaded songs are deleted about one day after each match.
Who runs it
Booth Ranked is an independent project made by an artist based in Norway. It's free to play, has no ads, and doesn't sell anyone's data. Questions, feedback or problems: see the contact page.
